Can I use my Madcap Gift Card for my deposit when making a reservation with Open Table?
-Unfortunately not. But if you let us know in advance, we are happy to cancel the charge and reimburse your credit card once you arrive at Madcap, and put the entire amount on the gift card if you prefer.
Can I bring in my own bottle of wine?
-Yes. We charge $50 corkage fee for each 750ml bottle, two bottle limit per party. Magnums and larger are double or triple corkage depending on the size of the bottle. We are unable to open personal bottles that are currently on our list.
Does the restaurant have valet parking?
-Madcap does not offer valet parking. We have a small lot on the side of our building that is available, and there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood behind the restaurant.
Can we bring our baby or toddler to Madcap?
-Madcap is an intimate space intended for adult dining. We do not have a children’s menu, or high chair. Because of the nature of our 11 course menu, the chef is not able to prepare special dishes for children.
Can we split a menu?
-Every diner is expected to have their own menu, we do not allow diners to split a menu.
Can you accommodate diners with special dietary preferences?
-The chef would prefer diners to have the menu he has prepared. However, he will accommodate diners with gluten allergy, diners that are vegetarian, and pescatarians. All diners at Madcap must be able to tolerate a small amount of butter. We do not offer vegan menus. We also cannot accommodate vegetarians who are also gluten free. We discourage diners to ask for a non fish menu. Our menu is mostly seafood.

How often does the menu change?
-The menu is changing constantly, and is dictated by the seasons and the whim of the chef.
What is your cancellation policy?
-We require a 48 hours in order to receive the deposit back. However, if we are able to re-book the table that we set aside for your party, then we will reimburse. Calling and leaving a message does not work for cancelling. We ask that everyone that has to cancel, send us an email at info@madcapmarin.com.
